Tomomi Tsunafuji is a passionate, extremely hard-working leader with a wide range of business experiences- who is up for any challenge. She has served as the Project Lead for many different companies and projects. Most notably, she was the Project Lead for two major renovation projects, where she managed multiple subcontractors and saw to the renovation of a lake house and a large home in the Atlanta area. In addition, she has served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Blackwood Impact Group (BIG), a marketing, sales, and operational consulting firm in Atlanta.
Tomomi has worn multiple hats throughout her career, where she has served in the accounting, marketing and sales, and project management departments. She loves juggling multiple projects at once and completing them with excellence. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs. And although she is not an entrepreneur herself, she brings that same go-getter, “EntrePloyee” mindset to each company that she works for. In addition to her parents, she has learned countless lessons from the amazing business mentors that she has had during the last 20 years of her adult life, and she is grateful for each and every one of them.
In addition, Tomomi is a graduate of The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where she majored in Risk Management and Insurance, with a minor in Japanese Language and Literature. While at UGA, she served as the President of UGA SIFE, now called Enactus (https://enactus.org). She was also accepted into The Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA), a very competitive program where she earned her Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership. She was a very active leader in UGA’s Team 14h30 group, and she earned her Certificate in Entrepreneurship and made the Dean’s List and was a HOPE scholarship recipient. She is fluent in Japanese and English, and is proficient in French and is working towards becoming fluent in French as well.
